Ember 2.0 is a men’s mid-weight heated glove for commuting, driving, winter walks and light outdoor work. It combines adjustable 7.4V heat with 3M Thinsulate insulation and a water-repellent milk-silk outer fabric. The standalone design provides more passive warmth than a liner while remaining easier to control than a heavily insulated snow glove.

Ember 2.0 uses a close S–2XL fit and generally fits smaller than many standard North American winter gloves. Measure the circumference and length of both hands and use the larger measurements when selecting a size.

If your circumference and hand length indicate different sizes, or you are near the upper end of a size range, use the larger size as your starting point.

Ember 2.0 is primarily a mid-weight standalone glove rather than a dedicated heated liner. If you plan to wear it beneath a roomier outer shell, make sure the complete combination leaves enough space for your fingers and the wrist battery area without restricting movement.

Remove both batteries before cleaning.
Spot-clean with a soft cloth, cool water and a small amount of mild detergent. Follow the sewn-in care label before hand-washing.
Do not soak, wring or twist the gloves. Keep the battery connectors and pocket openings protected from moisture.
Air-dry completely before reconnecting the batteries.
Keep the gloves away from dryers, radiators, space heaters, direct sunlight and other direct heat sources.

It's thicker than I thought it would be, but surprisingly my fingers can still be very nimble with a lot of things

Awaiting response after having paid and not getting a satisfactory product

These gloves seem great; the battery pack is smaller than on other heated gloves, and they come in a tidy, compact case. The major problem is the sizing. I followed the recommended measurement procedures and ordered a medium pair for my husband. However, when they arrived, we found they barely fit my own small (female) hands, let alone his (he could barely fit them over the first knuckle). Also, after I first ordered them in early December, I did not hear from the company for ten days. When I reached out to them, they said it was taking a while to find the ones I'd ordered "in the correct warehouse". Now I'm waiting for a response about my requested return. Epic fail as a Christmas gift for the husband, and I'm feeling dubious about the company in general. I will amend this review if they manage to rectify the situation.

These exceeded my expectations

These exceeded my expectations. I will say that you should be careful when ordering, as they run a BIT on the snug side - I purchased an XL, which is normally just about right, but these are bordering on almost TOO snug. Still, this does give me great manual dexterity for something that keeps my hands so warm - and they really work for that. The heat runs along the back of the hands all the way down to the fingertips - while you shouldn't expect absolutely toasty hands in very cold weather with higher wind, you can expect that your hands will never, ever go numb. I'm going to wear these in any conditions up to those where I'd need heavy duty mittens, so I'd say they're 100% worth the price.
