01
Skiing and Pole Control
Prioritize a secure palm, comfortable cuff and enough movement to hold and release ski poles naturally. A five-finger design may be more convenient when you frequently adjust bindings, zippers or other equipment.

02
Snowboarding and Bindings
Snowboarders do not need to hold poles, so a mitten can be practical when warmth is the main priority. Confirm that you can still operate binding straps, jacket closures and other equipment safely.
03
Chairlifts and Stationary Periods
Hands often feel colder when activity drops. Niagara Stone or the thicker Toboggan mitten may suit lift rides, lessons and longer waits when passive heat retention matters more than individual finger movement.
04
Mixed Resort and Everyday Use
WinterGlow and Ottawa Nights provide five-finger formats that can move between snow activities and general winter use. Compare insulation, leather coverage, bulk and grip with your expected activities.
WEATHER PROTECTION
Waterproof Membranes and Real-World Snow
WinterGlow, Ottawa Nights, Niagara Stone and Toboggan include internal waterproof membranes and DWR-treated exterior materials. These features help manage contact with snow and light winter moisture, but they do not make every seam, cuff opening or closure permanently waterproof under all conditions.
Cuff fit, seam construction, exposure time and contact with wet snow affect real-world performance. Keep the interior dry and close the cuffs securely.
FIT AND CONTROL
Fit, Sizing and Equipment Control
A heated ski glove or mitten should fit securely without squeezing the palm, fingertips or wrist. An excessively tight fit can compress insulation and restrict movement, while too much empty space can make equipment harder to control.
Measure the circumference and length of both hands and use the larger measurements when choosing a size.

POWER PLANNING
Battery Systems, Heat Settings and Charging
WinterGlow, Ottawa Nights, Niagara Stone and Toboggan use adjustable 7.4V heating systems. Runtime varies by model, battery capacity, heat setting, outdoor temperature, battery age and charging condition.
Begin with fully charged batteries. Never mix batteries or chargers simply because their connectors appear to fit.
LAYERING OPTION
Can You Layer a Heated Liner Under Ski Gloves?
A thin heated liner can add active warmth beneath an existing ski glove or mitten, but the outer glove must leave enough room for the liner, your fingers and the wrist battery area. Compression can reduce movement, grip and comfort.
Dragonfly is the lowest-bulk heated liner in the current Arcfomor range.
