Crab Leg is a unisex five-finger heated snow glove for independent finger movement during skiing, snowboarding, snow clearing and general winter work. It combines a goatskin palm with index-side reinforcement, pre-curved fingers, 3M insulation, a waterproof membrane and DWR-treated polyester for light rain and snow. Three 7.4V settings heat the back of the hand and finger backs. Long drawcord cuffs, adjustable wrist straps and touchscreen-compatible thumbs and index fingers complete the design.

Five Fingers, One Clear Tradeoff
Crab Leg keeps every finger in its own exterior channel. This traditional layout supports more independent movement around ski poles, straps, zippers and broad winter equipment while retaining the insulation and coverage of a standalone snow glove. It is still more substantial than a thin glove and is not designed for detailed fingertip work.

Shell and weather layers
Leather at the Contact Surface
Goatskin covers the full palm, with additional leather reinforcing the thumb-index contact area. Polyester forms the hand back and long gauntlet, keeping the shell flexible without adding rigid guards.
Beneath the shell, 3M insulation supplies passive warmth and an internal waterproof membrane helps manage light rain and snow. A DWR finish is applied to the polyester areas, while the battery-pocket zipper is waterproof. These layers are not intended for immersion or prolonged heavy rain.

Fit and control
Shape the Fit Around the Hand
Pre-curved fingers reduce the amount of straight material that must bend around a pole, handle or shovel grip. The adjustable wrist strap settles the glove around the hand, while the drawcord closes the long gauntlet over a jacket sleeve.
Both thumbs and index fingers include touchscreen contact areas for basic phone use. The insulation still limits typing speed and precision compared with a lightweight glove.
