Adjustable 7.4V heat works with 3M Thinsulate across the back of the hand. A waterproof membrane helps manage rain and wet snow, while touchscreen-compatible thumb and index fingertips support common phone controls. Vellum 2.0 is intended for warmth and everyday grip and should not replace cut-resistant, impact-rated, chemical-resistant or other task-specific protective gloves.

How to Measure Your Hand for Gloves
Buying gloves online? Start with your hand measurements. This guide shows two common measurements—hand circumference and hand length—for people choosing everyday, outdoor or heated gloves.
The measuring technique is useful beyond Arcfomor. Each brand and model can have different sizing requirements, so follow the instructions and size chart for the gloves you plan to buy.

How to Measure Your Hand for Gloves
1Measure Both Hands
Hand size can differ slightly from left to right. Measure both hands and write down the circumference and length of each, using the same unit throughout. Follow your chosen brand’s guidance on which hand or measurement to use.
2Measure Hand Circumference
Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the widest part of your palm, just below the knuckles. Do not include your thumb. Keep your hand relaxed and the tape snug, but not tight.
3Measure Hand Length
Measure from the wrist crease at the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger. Keep your hand flat with your fingers naturally extended.
No flexible tape? Wrap a piece of string around your palm, mark where the ends meet and measure the string with a ruler.
Hand Circumference, Palm Width and Hand Length
These measurements describe different parts of the hand and are not interchangeable. Check which measurements your chosen glove brand requests.
Hand Circumference
Measured around the widest part of the palm below the knuckles, excluding the thumb. Keep the tape snug without squeezing your hand.
Palm Width
The straight-line distance across the palm. It is not the same as circumference. If a size chart asks for palm width, follow that brand’s diagram for the exact measuring points.
Hand Length
Measured from the wrist crease to the tip of the middle finger. It helps determine whether the glove fingers will provide enough length.
Use Your Measurements with the Right Size Chart
Keep your circumference and length readings together with their units. Compare them with the chart for the exact gloves you want to buy. A size M in one brand may fit differently from a size M in another.
If your readings fall between sizes, point to different sizes or sit outside the chart, check that model’s fit notes or ask the brand for help. Liner gloves and insulated outer gloves can require different amounts of room.

Available sizes: Ember is available in S–2XL. Dragonfly is available in L and XL. Other current Arcfomor glove models are available in S–XL.
If circumference and length indicate different sizes, use the larger measurement as your starting point. Fit can vary by model, so check the selected product page before ordering. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size unless that model recommends otherwise.
Fit Notes for Arcfomor Heated Gloves
Heated gloves should feel secure without squeezing the palm, limiting finger movement or creating pressure at the fingertips. A glove that is too loose can reduce dexterity and make it harder to grip tools, handlebars, ski poles or a phone.
Dragonfly Heated Liners
Dragonfly is Arcfomor's dedicated heated liner and is designed for a closer fit. It should not feel restrictive. When wearing it under another glove, make sure the outer glove has enough room for the liner, your fingers and the wrist battery area.
Spider Silk and Feather
These models can be worn on their own or layered under a roomier outer glove. They are thicker than Dragonfly, so check the available space inside your outer shell before using them as liners.
Insulated, Work and Ski Gloves
These gloves should leave enough room for natural finger movement without excess material at the fingertips. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size rather than relying on the insulation to stretch.
Motorcycle Gloves
Check palm comfort, finger length and access to the controls. The glove should feel secure when gripping the handlebar without pulling tightly across the knuckles or bunching at the fingertips.
If your measurements indicate different sizes: use the larger size as your starting point. For example, if circumference indicates M and length indicates L, start with L. If your measurements fall outside the available sizes for a product, contact us rather than forcing the closest size.
