Goatskin Palm
Full-palm goatskin with a rugged, refined look.
Yellowstone is a non-heated insulated shell glove with two wearing modes. Wear it on its own or place it over a separately sold heated liner when active warmth is needed.
The 3M insulation, goatskin palm and weather layers provide a standalone setup for everyday winter use.
Layer Yellowstone over a compatible heated liner for battery-powered warmth. The liner is not included.
Yellowstone is a hybrid shell rather than an all-leather glove. The material split gives it a rugged, refined appearance while keeping the weather-treated textile on the back of the hand.
Goatskin covers the complete palm and defines Yellowstone’s leather-palm construction.
Polyester forms the back of the hand and carries the exterior DWR treatment.
Each layer has a different job. Together they provide passive insulation and help manage normal winter moisture without turning Yellowstone into a glove for soaking or submersion.
Provides passive warmth whether Yellowstone is worn alone or over a heated liner.
An internal membrane adds a moisture barrier beneath the outer shell.
The exterior water-repellent treatment applies to the polyester back, not the goatskin palm.
No specific operating temperature is promised. Comfort varies with weather, exposure time, activity level, fit and whether a heated liner is used.
Interior space affects warmth and finger movement. A liner should sit inside Yellowstone without compressing the fingers or restricting normal control.
The 0.5 mm dedicated heated liner leaves the most interior room inside the shell.
A slightly fuller heated liner that can still fit comfortably inside Yellowstone.
Feather can fit, but its thicker construction may feel crowded and is not the preferred pairing.
The remaining details support everyday winter use, but the glove should still be checked against the level of control and protection required for each activity.
The extended cuff uses a drawcord to close the opening and add coverage.
Both gloves support basic touchscreen use at the thumb and index fingertip.
Clip the gloves together between uses to help keep the pair in one place.
Confirm comfortable grip and movement before driving, cycling, skiing or handling equipment.
Yellowstone can be used for commuting, walking, driving, hiking, camping, photography, cycling, skiing, snowboarding and light outdoor tasks. It does not include hard impact protection and is not intended to replace purpose-built protective equipment.
Choose between a full-goatskin palm with an extended cuff and a PU-palm shell with a shorter cuff.
Full goatskin palm · DWR polyester back · Extended drawcord cuff
A leather-palm shell with longer cuff coverage and a rugged, refined finish.
PU palm · Polyester back · Short Velcro cuff
A synthetic-palm shell with a shorter cuff and three color combinations.
Both models have similar overall thickness, 3M insulation, an internal waterproof membrane, touchscreen thumb and index fingertips, a pairing clip and unisex S–XL sizing. Both can be worn alone or over separately sold heated liners.
Check shell sizing, choose a separately sold heated liner and review warranty coverage before ordering.
Yellowstone fits close to standard in S–XL. Measure both hands and use the larger circumference and length.
Dragonfly provides the lowest-profile pairing. Spider Silk offers a slightly fuller liner that also fits inside Yellowstone.
Review current eligibility, exclusions and claim requirements before ordering.
