What a Heavyweight Heated Riding Glove Feels Like
Tempest is a thick standalone heated motorcycle glove built for riders who want substantial leather coverage during cold-weather commuting, touring and recreational off-road riding. Its full-goatskin shell, insulation, battery pocket and built-in structure create a firmer feel than a lightweight or uninsulated riding glove.
Expect more material around the levers and switches than you would find in a slim summer glove. Before riding, become familiar with the throttle, brake, clutch and secondary controls while the motorcycle is stationary.
Full-Goatskin Construction Around the Hand
Goatskin forms the main exterior across the palm, back of the hand, fingers and extended gauntlet. The black shell is finished with orange accent detailing, giving Tempest a distinct appearance within the Arcfomor motorcycle glove line.
The fingers are pre-curved to follow a natural riding position rather than lying completely flat. As with other substantial leather gloves, the shell may feel firmer when new and develop more natural creasing through regular use.

Heat and Insulation Cover Different Areas
3M Thinsulate™ provides passive insulation across both the palm and back of the hand. The active heating elements cover the full back of the hand and the backs of the fingers. The palm and finger pads do not contain heating elements. Each glove has its own control button and three adjustable heat settings.

Waterproof Layers and Extended Cuff Coverage
An internal waterproof membrane provides the main barrier against normal rain, snow and road spray. A waterproof zipper closes the battery pocket, helping protect the battery compartment during everyday cold-weather riding.
The extended gauntlet is designed to overlap a jacket sleeve and secures with a hook-and-loop closure. Waterproof construction is not the same as immersion protection, so avoid soaking the gloves and keep the batteries, connectors and charging components dry.
